Additional Info
Drop the Not! is a multi-fandom fanwork challenge where authors create written fanworks that are prompted or inspired by oral not!fic.

Oral not!ficcers submit their prompts or inspiration in the form of oral!not fic, and writers claim individual oral not!fics and create a story inspired by the not!fic. The claiming period happens over three weeks, and then writers have five weeks to write a minimum of 1k based on or inspired by the not!fic. In some cases, the oral not!fic may be very detailed and follow specific plot lines with specific characters and in some cases the oral not!fic may be more general, similar to the "I wish someone would write me a fic where..." prompts on Tumblr.

Not!fic can be as detailed or general as the creator likes.

You may submit new oral not!fics created for this event or already published oral not!fics. However, the oral not!fics may not be recordings of an existing not!fic. (If you wish to include a transcript of your oral not!fic for accessibility purposes, you may, but please make it clear that you're doing so in your signup.)

All fandoms are welcome. This includes RPF.

Minimum: 20,000 words or 25,000 for collaborative podfic (for a primary piece) | 2,000 words (for a complementary piece)

Other: The primary fanwork must be completed and submitted to AO3 by the primary work deadline if you want it to go on the list of works available to complementary creators. For podfic, it must be finished and suitable for publication without any further changes, in the mods' opinion. This is to make sure that those working on complementary pieces have a completed primary fanwork in the collection to show as their inspiration.

Additional Info
This big bang is for due South and Canadian Six Degrees (see a partial list of acceptable fandoms here). Any rating, any pairing (or more, or none) is acceptable. Due South or c6d, both RPF/RPS and crossovers are fair game. If it’s a crossover/fusion with a non-dS/c6d fandom, the dS/c6d fandom should be the fanwork’s main fandom.
