Gen Prompt Bingo is a low commitment multi-fandom, multi-media bingo challenge.

Its aim is to provide bingo cards of gen-style prompts to be used as inspiration in creating fic, images, meta, fanmixes, vids or any other kind of fannish activities. Although the prompts themselves are "Gen" (i.e., no prompts are specifically about romance or sex) fills may be of any genre, style or rating.

Prompt lists are renewed at the start of December and April, and new cards can be claimed then even if a previous card has not been completed. There is an amnesty period for posting fills that can not be used for bingo claims from August to the end of November.

Please do not post individual prompt fills to the community. Post these to your own journal or other community space and only post to the community once you have completed a bingo. These do not have to be DreamWidth journals and communities, but they must be publicly viewable at least until the end of the current bingo round. It is OK for each prompt fill to link to separate posts or for them to link to separate items within one post (i.e., a post with several drabbles, each of which is a fill, or a post with several pictures, each of which is a fill) - as long as each fill is a distinct piece of creative work we are not concerned how you have arranged to post them to the Internet.

All stories and works of art must have Harry/Draco as the primary romantic/sexual pairing. Pre-slash should be marked clearly in the header information. Though, their relationship doesn't have to be the primary focus of the story/art, both Harry and Draco must play an important role in the story/art and their relationship must not be overshadowed by any other.

The only career exceptions for this fair are:
Harry: Auror, Professor, Quidditch Player, Sex-Related Careers
Draco: Auror, Professor, Potions Master, Sex-Related Careers

Each prompt can be claimed once for art and once for fiction. Once you submitted your story or art, you are welcome to claim a second prompt.

Announcement about capping at 100 claims.

Podficcers may select any H/D story for recording that fits the theme of the Fair. The story need not have been written for a previous H/D Fan Fair. You may also work in collaboration with a writer who claimed a prompt and record their story.

Podfics for H/D Career Fair are not posted anonymously; both the podficcers and the author's name will be noted in the header. Podfics of any length are acceptable. Sign-ups for podficcers happens when Claiming starts.

2. Respect accessibility requests stated clearly within the signup itself. If a recipient asks that a vid not include flashing lights, or a fic to be formatted to be screenreader-friendly, and the creator violates that accessibility request, it will be considered a DNW violation.
3. Provide content warnings for race or ethnicity-based hate crimes or racial violence.
4. Include one or more characters from one fandom in one media type requested by the recipient.
5. Be the product of a good faith effort.

Podfic request fills must do the following:
1. Meet all above requirements.
2. Be a complete, edited recording of a work that is at least 1,000 words, OR be a complete, edited recording of a work created specifically for this exchange that is at least 500 words. Sound effects, cover art, and music are not required.

Fills can be any combination of fic (100+ words), podfic (100+ words), art (no manips), or vids (10+ seconds).

A fill may only count toward ONE space/prompt. This includes multi-chaptered fills. The point is to create one stand-alone fanwork per square. Single chapters of a chaptered fic or panels of a multi-page comic can’t count as a single fill. Only the work in its entirety can.

To receive your card, leave a comment on the post linked above. You can specify formats for which you want to receive specific prompts; all non-format-specific prompts can be filled with fic, art, and podfic.

There is a list of podfic-friendly Steve/Tony writers in the fandom here, so you can easily find things to podfic if you don’t want to read your own work. You can also check creators' profiles for transformative statements.
